Summer-time downtime

Following the excitement of yesterday I spent the evening doing some work on shaping the space and how to give it a bit of form and structure. I had one of those nights where I looked up from the computer and found it was midnight. Oops. Luckily I haven’t done that very often so once in a while will be ok. But this is certainly not something I want to make a habit. That’s an old well-worn pattern that brings out the boom and bust.

So downtime is just as important as worktime. And I’m not just talking about meditation. Today is all about  catching up with friends, garden BBQ’s and maybe a glass of wine or two. Oh and strawberries. Is there anything more wonderful than a bowl of strawberries on a summer’s day?

Happy me. Grateful me.
