Hello there. Thank you for visiting my site. It’s great to have you here. Please stay for a while, have a browse, think of this as a space where you can breathe.

My current expression is that of a writer and poet so here is where you will find a selection of my work which I have published through WordPress and details of all my work in progress.

There are a number of themes which run through my work, the most significant to me being the theme of connection. Connection with others, with myself, with the natural world and with the force that guides us all – be that the universe, a higher self or something yet unknown. With that comes the theme of disconnection, the changes in relationships between ourselves and our world, sometimes to to detriment of our mental and physical well-being.

It is my aim to create a space which is interactive and collaborative therefore if you feel inspired by my work and would like to add your voice please get in touch.

You can read my latest poems and prose, as well as the occasional personal musings here, or follow the menu above where you can also find my recommendations of people to follow, read or go visit as you have me. There is also a typical About Me section and what I have called Flotsam and Jetsam, a collection of musings that may or may not end up in stories and poems.

I hope you find my work useful and that it triggers something for you, a connection, a remembering, a way for you to be heard.

With love, Kirstie.

  1. What a powerful piece, Kirstie. I felt an energy rise up in me as I read your words. It’s healing to read about the reunion of the sisters and incredible to link Lilith to #metoo. What an amazing time to be alive- to witness this transition we are part of. Every woman is in some way part of, and experiencing that internal reunion. Thank you for this poem – I feel stronger for reading it. ❤
